This is the day.....

This is the day that I start my 1st BLOG! Kind of crazy that I think I have time for such an indulgence as I am a mother of 3 + 1 husband who works at home, so that makes 4! When I was a teen stranded out in the mountains of Colorado, I wrote short stories and enjoyed it. It passed the hours that ticked away so slowly with only 3 TV channels and a telephone party line. And I don't mean a phone line where people go to pick up on each other and flirt! I mean 4 households shared a phone line!

My daughter says that was in the "olden days"! She is amazed that we even had electricity! Sometimes I look at my husband and 3 kids and am amazed. I don't know where the time has gone? I remember sitting there in my late 20's wondering if I'd ever have a family or kids. Now I am a chunky stay at home Mom with a 3rd grade daughter, 1st grade daughter and an overactive charming preschool son. My husband and I have a very unique relationship that gets even better with time. We married in our 30's and are as different as can be! In every way! I am white, he is black. He is tall (6'4), I am short (5'4). He is a perfectionist, I am laid back. He is
an engineer, I am a crafty Mom. But as I said as time goes by we clash less and make the team I always prayed for. Did I mention that we both love God? We do!

Oh well, I am off to home school my son for a little while. He decided preschool was not for him because the teacher did not floss OR brush her teeth! He also shared that information with everyone in class on multiple occasions! LOL!
